Mixed Media Pendant

This piece was made for a young woman who had just completed high school and was heading off to her first year in college.

The handmade nails are about 100 years old. They came from an old barn in Maine. Inside the pendant is a small pile of feathers laid over a poem about setting yourself free and flying toward your dreams.
