Friendship Locket

Chaya designed this locket, for her best friend...

"My best friend had moved out across the country when I designed this piece for her. The locket was intended to give her a symbol of our friendship and a piece of home: New Hampshire.

On the front of the pendant is a map of the town and street that she grew up on. The backside shows the neighborhood I grew up in.

Inside the locket is a poem about friendship placed upside down so the wearer can read it. On the opposite side are flowers and herbs native to New Hampshire fossilized in a clear epoxy resin."
